Yates Engineering have gone green!

Renewable energy…admittedly it may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of a steel fabrication company but here at Yates Engineering we are proud to play our part in a cleaner, greener future.

Continually looking to invest back into the business we have recently utilised empty space on the workshop roof and installed a further 10kw and increased our solar capacity to a total of 30kw.

The environmental benefits of a renewable source of energy are vast and solar energy has an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating climate change and reducing our carbon footprint. It allows us to prepare for the future, ensuring growth and economic wellbeing.

Investing in solar energy in today’s unpredictable climate also permits us to have greater control over our energy costs and allows us to offer stability in pricing for our customers and remain highly competitive.
