Papplewick Young Farmers Visit

Last week we hosted a visit for Papplewick Young Farmers. They loved it! We split them into two groups, whilst one group were shown a power point on the history of Yates Engineering Ltd and an outline of what we do now, the other group were given a tour round the workshop by Rob, Eric & Kyle.

They saw working demonstrations of the machinery and were given an opportunity to try their hand at welding! They then swapped over.

We presented them all with a model jeep as a keepsake, which they had seen plasma cut from 2mm sheet steel, linished, then folded on the CNC pressbrake. Jack was also declared the winner of the welding task!
