One of this weeks jobs has been a flatbed lorry body. The floor and side rails were badly corroded and damaged. The first job was to strip and remove the old material and clean and prepare for welding.
We used box section steel for the cross members and cut and folded channel sections for the side rails. The new floor was then fabricated and fitted along with corner posts and new hinges, and then completed with a coat of paint.
