Welcome to our July newsletter!
This month Yates Engineering was pleased to support a very special project, led by Roger Merryweather of Southwell in Nottinghamshire, by manufacturing the plinth for a special Robin Hood statuette. This was to be presented to the Mayor of Foncquevillers, France, during this year’s commemorations marking the 110th anniversary of the first day of the Battle of the Somme. The presentation provided a fitting and lasting tribute to the men of the 7th (Robin Hood) Battalion, Sherwood Foresters.
