From Nervous Start to Personal Best: Our Helen Takes on the City of Lincoln 10K 🏃‍♀️

Great achievement from one of our team members at Yates Engineering! 👏

Helen completed her very first 10K race at the City of Lincoln 10K on Sunday, running alongside her partner Damian. Like many runners at their first event, attempting a distance fairly new to them, Helen arrived feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

Once the race began though, the atmosphere combined with the support of the other runners and spectators, quickly turned those nerves into motivation and she pushed herself all the way to the finish – achieving her fastest ever 10K time in her debut event 🎉

At Yates Engineering, we’re proud to support our team in their personal achievements as well as their professional ones. We look forward to seeing what challenge Helen takes on next.

Thinking of taking on your own challenge this year? or were you also at Sunday’s City of Lincoln 10k? We’d love to hear about it!
