In our January Newsletter we were excited to announce that this year marks a significant milestone for Yates Engineering – 45 years in business! As promised, as part of our celebration, we are revisiting the company’s timeline and showing you some of our notable past projects. Last month, we featured a photograph of our workshop from 1980, the year David Yates established the company. Fast forward to 1985, when we were known as Yates Agricultural & General Engineers; it was during this time that we began the construction of our new workshop! Here’s David Yates, eager to kick things off, up a ladder!
In our early days, we focused on repairing agricultural machinery, and here’s David once again, diving into work in the new workshop.
Another early project was to design and build an Irrigation Boom!
We’re loving our trip down memory lane and sharing our journey with you! Stay tuned for next month’s instalment of our Fabrication Flashback, where we’ll unveil even more captivating projects, including some remarkable seed corn drying and storage bins. Don’t miss it!
