As a company we continually strive to move forward to ensure our customers receive the high quality service they require and ensuring that our workforce undergo the correct training to do this is very important to us.
We know it’s not the most exciting topic but as an engineering firm Health and Safety is a topic not to be taken lightly.
Regular training is a huge part of ensuring the safety of our workforce is taken seriously whilst allowing us to invest in our employees and help improve skills further.
Subsequently this also links to us being able to achieve a top safety accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace, alongside a CHAS accreditation which demonstrates health and safety best practice.
We’ve had a busy couple of days here at Yates Engineering as the guys in the workshop have just updated and renewed their forklift training.
Forklift training is crucial as it’s a machine that is used daily by most engineers here. It’s highly important to us to ensure that they have all been trained to the required standard to be safe competent operators on forklift trucks.
