Four vintage tractors, five days, two coasts and plenty of determination – David Yates, from Yates Engineering and friends are preparing for another memorable charity adventure this June in support of Cancer Research UK.
David will be joined by Steve Tooley, Stewart Marshall and Ben Craig as they travel from Ravenglass to Robin Hood’s Bay on four vintage tractors – with three of them having no cabs!
The team will set off from Ravenglass on Monday 8th June and expect to arrive in Robin Hood’s Bay on Friday 12th June, covering the route over five days with overnight stops in Ambleside and Leyburn along the way.
These are the same vintage tractors David and Steve used during their previous charity adventure in 2008, when they completed the famous Land’s End to John O’ Groats ride, which took two weeks to complete.
