Some of you might recognize this iconic landmark — the Town Pump at Newark Market Square in Newark-on-Trent. Steeped in history, this cast-iron pump dates back to the 18th or 19th century and was originally installed to provide the town with a reliable source of clean water. Though no longer in use, it remains a cherished symbol of Newark’s heritage and community spirit. Recently, the pump sustained some damage and we were honoured to restore, repaint, and reinstall it to it’s former glory. Here’s a photo of the beautifully restored pump back in place!
