Welcome to June! Hard to believe we are already getting close to the longest day of the year! May was a busy month as usual at Yates Engineering, with some excitement as we welcomed the stunning JCB Agri Telehandler – the latest addition to our team! We also unveiled our newly branded van, which looks fantastic and is now fully equipped to support our engineers on the go. We’re looking forward to a productive and sunny summer ahead!
This month, we’re excited to share some important milestones in our company’s history with you through our Fabrication Flashback series. Before diving into our involvement with the pre-cast concrete industry, let’s look back at some key moments.
In 1997, Yates Agricultural & General Engineers became a Limited Company, marking a significant step in our growth. Later, in 2009, we rebranded to Yates Engineering Ltd, reflecting our evolving focus and capabilities.
In May 2009, we achieved ISO 9001 (2008 standard) certification – the world’s most recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard! We have since transitioned to the updated 2015 standard and have successfully maintained the accreditation each year.
During this period, we established our presence in the pre-cast concrete industry by supplying components, creating custom moulds and performing repairs. These services remain a core part of our offerings today. You can see some examples of our work here.
