The End of the First World War at Southwell Ploughing Match

To commemorate the centenary of the end of The First World War one of the main attractions at this years Southwell Ploughing Match was the display ‘From the Field to the Front 1914-1918’ which proved a very popular attraction with all ages.

Featuring calvary demonstrations, a specially dug trench, restored equipment and even a working British Army Tank the display gave visitors the rare opportunity to take a step back in time and experience the day to day conditions of WW1 that many endured.

Yates Engineering were proud to be partly involved in the creation of this wonderful display and made and sponsored the bespoke laser cut soldiers. They were to an approved design using 3D CAD Drawings produced by our in house team.
